We are delighted to announce that we have promoted three employees within our Wills and Probate, Medical Negligence and Corporate departments.
Nadia Faki has been promoted to Partner, while Ziaur Rahman and Danielle Young have been promoted to Legal Director. Between them, they have worked for us for nearly 50 years.
Wills and Probate specialist, Nadia, who qualified as a Solicitor in 2009, joined us as an Associate in 2017 before progressing to Legal Director and now Partner. She said:
“I joined Nelsons as I firmly believed it would provide me with the opportunity to progress and take my career to a new level. Five years later, I’m thrilled to have been promoted to partner and can’t wait to continue to build our team and professional network.”
Danielle, who specialises in clinical negligence and inquests, joined Nelsons in 2011 and qualified as a Solicitor in 2015. She said:
“Our team consists of some of the most dedicated and hard-working people I know, so I’m very much looking forward to continuing my journey with them.
“My new role provides me with greater responsibility and I’m looking forward to driving the continued growth and success of our department.”
Corporate law specialist, Ziaur, who advises on acquisitions, disposals, mergers and a number of specialist areas of corporate and charity law, joined us in 1997 and qualified as a Solicitor in 2001. He said:
“We’re looking to expand on our niche areas of expertise and grow the team even further.
“I’m looking forward to having greater supervisory responsibility, which will give me the opportunity to continue supporting my colleagues and clients – both in Leicester and beyond.”
