Chris qualified as a Solicitor in 2013 and joined our Dispute Resolution team as a Partner in January 2024.
Chris has extensive experience in handling a variety of disputes and claims. He specialises in property disputes, including rights of way claims, boundary disputes, and restrictive covenants. His expertise extends to landlord and tenant disputes, where he advises on rent arrears claims for both commercial and residential landlords, as well as forfeiture and relief from forfeiture claims, breach of lease, and dilapidations claims.
In the realm of commercial disputes, Chris is adept at managing commercial lease renewals, possession proceedings, evictions, and unlawful evictions. He also addresses tenancy compliance issues, such as rent deposit matters, breach of tenancy, and selective licensing issues.
Chris is well-versed in securing emergency injunctions and handling squatters’ claims. He is proficient in resolving access and easement disputes, and he has a strong track record in dealing with professional negligence claims involving property.
