On 1st December 2020, leading East Midlands law firm Nelsons acquired award-winning Leicester family law solicitors and mediators, Glynis Wright & Co, with the business fully transferring to Nelsons on 21st December 2020.

The acquisition of Glynis Wright & Co forms part of Nelsons’ ambitious strategy for growth in Leicester and the wider East Midlands region. The transaction supports Nelsons’ vision to become the strongest and biggest department of family law solicitors in the East Midlands.

Glynis Wright & Co join Nelsons

Glynis Wright & Co, in Regent Road, Leicester, was founded in April 2011 by Glynis Wright MBE, who has grown it into a £1.2 million turnover firm. Glynis will join Nelsons’ Leicester office as a Partner and head up the family law team on New Walk in Leicester city centre.

Glynis qualified as a solicitor in 2003 and provides expert legal advice in relation to divorce and financial settlements, contested contact and residence cases involving children, pre and post nuptial agreements and cohabitation breakups.

She has built her highly regarded reputation on a total commitment to her clients and a high standard of service delivery. Her philosophy is to ease the anxiety and turmoil of divorce and relationship break-ups by being approachable and friendly whilst offering the best legal advice to her clients.
