Protecting your rights at work
It is against the law for employers to discriminate against employees due to disability, race, sex, age or religion.
Our team of workplace discrimination lawyers have extensive experience and can help you if you are discriminated against:
- When applying for a job
- Whilst doing your job
- In promotion, transfer or training opportunities
If you have been the victim of discrimination we may be able to help you claim compensation, so speak to us without obligation to find out more. We offer a fixed fee one hour appointment which is charged at £200 + VAT.
Progressing a discrimination claim
You can complain to the employment tribunal if you have been disadvantaged at work due to discrimination.
If you succeed with a claim for discrimination, your employer can be ordered:
- To pay compensation – including compensation for injury to feelings
- To take steps to reduce the adverse effect of the discrimination
If the discrimination happened when you applied for a job, the tribunal can recommend that you be offered it and if the employer refuses they can be ordered to pay you compensation.
