We are very pleased to have secured significant compensation for clients already this year. Two of our highly experienced clinical negligence Partners were able to settle 2 long standing clinical negligence claims in the first week of January 2025. Cases that would otherwise have proceeded to trial, causing not only significant distress for the injured claimants but also increased litigation costs.
Achieving substantial compensation
A combined capitalised compensation figure of around £12 million has been achieved for those clients. The awards of compensation will not change the injuries sustained and will not undo the pain and distress caused to those injured individuals. However, we hope that these awards will enable our clients to start to rebuild their lives through purchasing and adapting suitable and accessible accommodation; providing our clients with a forever home and the security that brings.
The compensation will provide for lifetime care, therapies, and the equipment needed to rehabilitate and rebuild independence. We hope the settlement of these cases will bring about improved quality of life for those individuals concerned.
