Businesses will be able to hear from Notts County manager Kevin Nolan, while watching Nottingham take on Derby in the Vitality T20 Blast Match at the SportsAid charity dinner next month.
The event – sponsored by Nelsons, Yorkshire Bank, Trent Bridge Cricket Ground and Musson Liggins – will raise money to provide financial support to local, talented, young people and takes place at Trent Bridge Cricket Ground on Thursday, 2 August.
Former Newcastle United captain Nolan became player-manager of Notts County in January 2017, guiding the Magpies from relegation before taking the team to the League Two play-offs the following season.
During his time at Newcastle, Nolan was voted as the Championship Player of the Year at the Football League Awards. In June 2011, West Ham United confirmed the signing of Nolan and he finished as top goalscorer in the 2013-14 season.

Fifteen-year-old Abbie Breakwell, of Long Eaton, who has been playing wheelchair tennis for more than two years – and has already won two gold medals at the National School Games and been a finalist in the Wheelchair Tennis British Open – will also be presented with a £500 cheque at the event to help further her development in the sport.
She said:
“I have always loved sports but due to my disability, I was always a bit slower or clumsy so I struggled to keep up with my peers. In 2015 while part of the ball crew at the Wheelchair Tennis British Open, I went along to a ‘come and try it’ session and started training at Loughborough University that October.
“I absolutely love it. I’ve not looked back since and it has changed my life in so many ways. This June, I got to play at Wimbledon with Tim Henman and Alfie Hewitt – it was a dream to do so and I cannot wait to one day play on centre court. My aspirations for the future are to play at Wimbledon in the tournament and to represent Great Britain at a Paralympics.”
SportsAid provides financial support to local, talented, young people who have no other access to vital funding which will support them through training and ultimately help them to reach their potential.
