Nelsons represented Mr W in a claim against a major pharmacy after it failed to prescribe his angina medication.
Mr W took regular medication to control his angina. He went to the pharmacy to collect his repeat prescription, along with other medication, but subsequently realised he had not been given his angina medication Amlodipine.
He telephoned the pharmacy over several days and informed them that he had run out of his medication, but no medication or advice was provided.
After two days without his medication he suffered from an angina attack.
Nelsons settled the claim for £4,200.
