A head injury suffered as a result of a road traffic accident left a woman physically and psychologically scarred.
Ms M was involved in a road traffic accident and as a result suffered a significant head injury. Left with a scar on her forehead, and suffering from post traumatic stress and a psychological reaction to the accident, Ms M was unable to return to work as she could no longer cope with her job.
Before the accident happened, Ms M enjoyed going out with her friends and had a responsible job. After the accident, Ms M’s personality changed as a result of the head injury and she found it difficult to leave her flat and had to have help with every day tasks such as shopping.
Nelsons Solicitors Recovered Compensation
Nelsons were able to secure funding from the insurers dealing with the claim so that Ms M could have some psychological therapy and she gradually improved.
Liability was admitted and Lisa Preece was able to recover £73,500 in compensation for Ms M who has been able to move into a new flat and is retraining for a new career.
