The Wilson Organisation, a family owned and run business based in Nottingham providing professional independent insurance, financial, risk management and corporate finance solutions to businesses and individuals, has launched a brand new set of awards to showcase the successes and achievements of family businesses in the Midlands.
The Midlands Family Business Awards is a not-for-profit venture, with all proceeds going to charities supporting young enterprise and young people - The Children’s Society, The Willow Foundation and The Venture Foundation.
The Awards which have ten categories are open to any Midlands-based family business regardless of their size or industry sector. Entries are free and submissions can be made online via the Awards website - www.familybusinessawards.co.uk
The application process is quick and easy, with clear explanations and information about each category at every step. Businesses can enter as many categories as they are eligible for.
The deadline for making online submissions has just been extended to 23rd July 2010 to allow busy family business owners the chance to showcase their work.
